nervous system informed Therapy in THE BAY AREA, CA

BUILDING RESILIENCE FROM THE inside OUT.

Something KEEPS getting in the way. THAT DOESN’T MEAN IT ALWAYS WILL.

Most approaches to healing focus on what we think and what we feel. But experience doesn't only live in the mind — it's encoded in the brain and expressed through the body. Heart rate, breath, muscle tension, gut response: these aren't just symptoms. They're the nervous system's best prediction of what the world requires right now, based on what it has learned before. Updating that prediction — not just understanding it — is where lasting change begins. This isn't a fringe idea — it's where the research on trauma and nervous system health has been pointing for decades. In an era and region where most of us are already tracking our physiology — HRV, sleep metrics, stress scores — that data rarely gets put to meaningful use. Bringing it into the therapy room gives us something concrete to work with together.

Meet your therapist

MY NAME’S ALYSSE.

Therapy that integrates mind, brain, and body to support awareness, resilience, and greater capacity in the face of life’s demands.

I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist integrating psychotherapy with biofeedback and neurofeedback to support meaningful, sustainable change.

Many of the adults I work with have tried, repeatedly — therapy, medical intervention, their own considerable self-awareness — and still sense that something fundamental is off. They may appear capable and high-functioning, yet feel internally overwhelmed, reactive, or disconnected from themselves. I offer a thoughtful, neuroscience-informed approach that helps you better understand your patterns, quiet internal overload, and strengthen your capacity to respond rather than react. Our work is collaborative, personalized, and paced — supporting growth through awareness and steadiness rather than pressure or perfection.

what to expect

AS WE BEGIN:

01

Reach Out

A consultation is a chance to share what you’re experiencing, ask questions, and explore whether this approach feels right for you. There’s no pressure to decide—just an opportunity to connect and see what support might be helpful.

02

begin the process

If we decide to move forward, we’ll take time to understand your nervous system, history, and goals. Sessions may integrate psychotherapy, biofeedback, or neurofeedback, depending on what feels most supportive for you.

03

notice change

Over time, many clients notice more internal quiet, flexibility, and awareness. Progress isn’t about fixing or forcing change, but about building capacity, self-understanding, and more sustainable ways of meeting life.
